Golf is as much about place as it is about the game. Walking amongst the tall pines of Bandon Trails or along the wild Tasmanian coast of Barnbougle Dunes, I’m always struck by how the landscape shapes the experience — the wind, the light, the silence between swings. Each course feels like its own world, defined by texture and weather as much as archetectual design. The sense of being small in a vast space, completely present, helps turn a photograph into to something timeless.
